Almost perfect!,
This booster seat is almost perfect. It is lightweight and easy to install and remove, and my daughter claims it is comfortable. As a mom, my chief point of dissatisfaction is that it does not recline or have a head rest, so the napping child is left slumped forward uncomfortably. We have purchased a neck travel pillow for her, it helps somewhat.
Definitely worth the money if you are on a strict budget and want safety and an easily usable booster for your toddler.

|perfect for my three year old,
This ended up being the perfect seat for my three year old! The seat belt goes across her chest at the perfect angle etc. Also, the coloring is much prettier when you have the booster in front of you.

|Great final car seat,
Our son just turned 4. He is about 42″ tall and had been using a regular car seat with the dual shoulder straps. Well, even though he wasn’t complaining it was becoming troublesome to get him strapped in the car seat, especially with a heavy coat on, because he had just outgrown it. I had adjusted the shoulder straps to their maximum height.
I purchased this seat after reviewing multiple booster seats. There are several things I like about it.
– Still has seat back for younger kids, but the back is removable so it converts to stand-alone booster seat when they get older.
– The price is unbeatable.
– Colors are simple and not gaudy.
– Has two pop-out cup holders with space for other items (such as hot-wheels cars.)
– MUCH easier to move in and out of car as you no longer have to deal with the LATCH system. Just thread the seat belt through the hole and you are set.
I did deduct a star for one reason. During a hard turn, the booster seat will slide around on the car seat due to the hard plastic bottom. Remember, there is no LATCH system on this to hold it in place. We solved this by purchasing a car seat mat to put under it. Still, seems like the manufacturer could have put some rubber on the bottom to prevent this. I don’t think it’s a safety issue because the seat belt fits him nicely in the booster. But be prepared to purchase or rig something up to prevent sliding if you have leather seats.

I bought this seat for my 4 year old son. I love it! Its so simple and easy to use! To fuss, no annoying features that you will never use. Simple to adjust as your child gets taller. The cover is machine washable which is awesome.

|A decent booster seat with room for improvement,
We got this as a travel booster seat for our 5 year old daughter. I ordered it and had it delivered to my in-laws, so when we arrived we had a car seat available for use. The booster seat required minor assembly, no tools required. The head rest had to be attached to the back rest, and then the entire back portion can be mounted to the seat portion. It took less than 5 minutes to get it put together.
I liked that the armrests did not extend too far forward, and it also tilted up, both of which allowed our child an easier time to get into the seat. The seat belt shoulder loop/guide kept the cross-chest part of the seat belt at the proper height without the danger of going across the neck (in case of accident). There are two slide-out trays that have a round and square holder (for drinks, snacks, toys, etc.) and are easy enough for our toddler to slide in and out. The seat cover has a microfiber feel
The back portion easily adjusts to 6 different heights, and therefore grows with the child. The seat can also be converted into a no-back booster mode, which is basically just the base part of the seat. The back portion can come off relatively easily, but requires an intended effort for it to come off.
I prefer the latch system, which gives me the peace of mind that the seat will not go anywhere. However, on one occasion we had to make a sharp turn and thankfully the booster seat did not slide or move anywhere. I would really like to see this seat with the LATCH system, and I would not mind paying a little bit more for this feature. For example, the Britax Fronteir 85 booster seat offers the LATCH system (plus the 5-point harness) and it is one of my preferred booster seats of all the ones we have. This is the source of the one missing star from a perfect 5-star rating.
Overall, it is a very good booster car seat. It served its purpose well, it is reasonably very good quality, and for the price (about 40 dollars) you really can’t go wrong. Highly recommended.
